I too, have been to Israel and ...Very well stated! I too, have been to Israel and Palestine and have seen what is actually going on that we never hear about! So I have committed myself to work for justice and peace for both Israeli's and Palestinians. But yes, it is hard to be balanced, when you have one side that has all of the military might, a tall "security fence" with guards that may or may not allow Palestinians to get to their work, their farm, or to the hospital. The Israeli Defense forces routinely destroy Palestinian homes and orchards of olive and fruit trees. When they build the settlements, they put in swimmimg pools, but deny water to the Palestinians. It's time that the US Congress and Administration wake up to the facts on the ground! Why are we assisting with our military equipment and Apache helicopters, bulldozers, etc. to a people who use them to destroy another people?Dottie Villesviknoreply@blogger.com
